We're building a calmer way to manage work
WorkForge started with a simple question: why does project management software make work feel harder, not easier?
Our Mission
We believe the best teams are the ones that spend their time on meaningful work, not wrangling tools or sitting in status meetings.
WorkForge exists to give teams clarity. To help people see exactly what needs to happen, when it needs to happen, and who's responsible—without the overhead.
We're not trying to build the most feature-packed project management tool. We're building the one that gets out of your way and lets you do great work.
Our Story
WorkForge was born out of frustration. Our founders, Alex and Jamie, spent years leading product teams at fast-growing startups. They used every project management tool on the market. And they found the same problem everywhere: tools that promised to make work easier but ended up adding more work.
Updating tickets. Sitting in standups. Generating reports for stakeholders. Switching between views. The overhead was enormous—and it was taking time away from the work that actually mattered.
In 2021, they started building something different. A tool designed around a radical idea: what if project management software actually saved you time instead of consuming it?
They obsessed over every interaction. Every click. Every notification. They asked: is this necessary? Is there a simpler way? Can we automate this?
Today, WorkForge is used by thousands of teams who share our belief that great work happens when tools get out of the way. We're a small, focused team—and we plan to stay that way. We'd rather build one great product than chase every feature request.
We're just getting started.
